Based on The Lake Whatcom Watershed- A Retrospective Resource Directory published in 2008 for the Whatcom County Public Works Department.
In the summer of 2009, the City of Bellingham imposed a temporary mandatory watering restriction.
PFLW posted information on the watering ban at that time.
